SUMMARY:
When one bunny is mean to another. Morals are something we learn, rather than something we're born with. In this Beatrix Potter story aimed at the youngest children, the "fierce, bad rabbit" of the title is a bunny who steals food from other bunnies. In fact, he's munching on some smaller rabbit's carrot when a hunter draws a bead on him. He gets what he deserves, losing his cottontail and whiskers! Despite the hunter, this is a simple, non-bloody story in which the "villain" gets his comeuppance. The message? Be kind to others!
